The Legacy Society of the Manatee Community Foundation honors those friends and benefactors who have used the diverse services of MCF to carry out their estate plans. Too often, such gifts go unrecognized because they come at the end of donors’ lives. The Legacy Society provides a way to thank donors during their lifetimes.

An invitation to join the Legacy Society is extended to all who have already established a gift or intend to create a fund in MCF through their will, estate plan or a life income agreement such as charitable remainder trusts, gift annuities, life insurance policies, or remainder interest in residences or other real estate.

Membership is voluntary and free. Members have the option of remaining anonymous. Gifts of all sizes are important and welcome. Disclosure of gift amount or type is not required. Legacy members are celebrated at MCF’s annual Legacy Society Luncheon. Members are recognized in MCF publications and receive invitations to other Foundation events.
