The Manatee Communitiy Foundation has three funds that accept "competitive" grant applications: the MCF Unrestricted Funds, the Lakewood Ranch Community Fund and the Knight Donor Advised Fund.. These three funds have different areas of focus, eligibility and deadline dates. Please read each fund's information carefully.

| Lakewood Ranch Community Fund |
Unrestricted in interest area, but geographically targeted to organizations either located in or providing service to the Lakewood Ranch community. Applications are accepted beginning in July of each year for the Fall Grant Cycle.

| Knight Donor Advised Fund |
In 2010 the Knight Foundation redirected the charitable focus of its donor advised fund to supporting "transformational projects that foster informed, engaged communities." This continues to be the focus area. |
