Spring Grant Cycle - nonprofit organizations providing services in Manatee County or to Manatee County citizens may submit grant applications for consideration. Deadline date: Friday, February 24th, 2012. Applications, guidelines and criteria may be downloaded here.

Announcing the 2012 Spirit of Manatee Honorees! Each honoree embodies the philanthropic spirit of Manatee County and will be formally recognized at the Spirit of Manatee luncheon on Wednesday, February 15^th (click here for more information).
Lifetime Spirit Award – Robert G. Blalock; Leadership Spirit Award – Hugh & Karen Miller;
Volunteer Spirit Award – Chris & Sue Egler; Volunteer Spirit Award – John Vita;
Community Spirit Award – Champs Sports; Young Spirit Award – Manatee High School Key Club

Congratulations to Billie and Bob Delaney, the Lakewood Ranch Community Fund's 2011 Humanitarian Award winners! They received the award at the Fund's 2011 Grants Reception held on Friday, October 21, 2011 at Town Hall. Also at the Grants Reception, 19 non profit organizations received grant awards totaling $64,000.

MCF announces the Manatee Performing Arts Center Challenge - a matching gift program available to qualified new donors to MCF supporting the construction of the Manatee Performing Arts Center, Home of the Manatee Players.
