Risks Your Nonprofit Can’t Afford to Take: What You Need to Know for 2017 and Beyond

Nonprofit organizations may be exempt from taxes but are not exempt from the threat of cyber crimes, fraud, theft by employees and volunteers, and other risks to security.
In this session with Regions Bank, nonprofit staff and board members will walk away with knowledge to help them avoid situations that could cause reputation damage and impact their ability to keep funding and good will flowing. In this 2-hour session for executive directors, board members, and those in key management positions, we will discuss:
- Practices your organization can put in place to prevent the likelihood of employee/volunteer theft, assuring your donors and board members that your safeguards are up to date.
- How to identify what could make your nonprofit a target for fraud from cyber thieves, employees, and clients you are serving.
- Controls and best practices to prevent internal and external fraud at your nonprofit.
